Greetings!
I'm Marcas, and I'm 43. People usually say I look about 28-36, so I guess that's a good thing. :)
I am a poet (since I was 8) and that's one reason why I joined this site... to post poetry and to vent. Please keep in mind that some of my writings are controversial, but they're also uplifting, inspirational, political, spiritual etc.
I have lived and experienced a lot. I know that there are things that I can look back on and say I should have done this, or I should have done that, but that's the past and we cannot change the past, but we can prevent things that happen in the future.
I'm a very, VERY good man... and I'm underrated in many degrees by humans. I'm also one of the "last romantics" as I would like to put it (and as women have told me) because men and women aren't as romantic as I am. I'm the most deepest, most loving, most romantic, most caring, good-hearted soul in all the galaxies and I don't have to compete with anyone on that level because I already know who I am and what my faults are. God knows me and that's alright with me.
I am very:
LOVING, DEEP, Caring, Kind, Considerate, Empathetic, Sincere, Supportive, Nurturing, Respectful, Sensitive / Emotional, Affectionate, Sensual, Erotic / Sexual, Passionate, Understanding, Patient, Witty, Goofy / Humorous, Artistic, Poetic, Energized, Hurt, Loyal, Tolerant, Trustworthy, and so much more.
I am not:
Cocky, Conceited, Arrogant, Selfish, Egotistical, A bully, Mean, Hurtful, A criminal, or anything bad.
I have:
- Blue eyes
- Light-Brown hair
- A muscular build (but I'm not stocky)
- Wonderful hands (since I'm a drummer) which are great for full-body massages
- A variety of music tastes (but I don't listen to Rap {"Crap"} - "Retards Attempting Poetry" because it's a disrespect to REAL poets- which I am, nor do I listen to Country), and I mainly listen to Electronica- particularly Goa (Goa Trance) and PsyTrance, and I love Ambient / Psybient, love music from the 50s on up (even Big Band stuff), but not really the 90s.
- Been told that I resemble Matt Damon (a lot) and a little like Kevin Bacon.
- I have the stamina of 1,000 stallions. This also depends on the woman and how she's into me (or not into me).
I am:
- 5'8" but I walk tall and height doesn't bother me any (from anyone else) and height does not always equal length, so keep that in mind. :) Sorry for the blunt comment, but I'm very straight-forward.
- Very artistic - as I love to write poetry and draw / paint (but my drawing and painting has been very limited over the years), and I love to dance and sing (I sing 3-1/2 octaves+).
- A very good drummer (I love drum circles) and a very good dancer (being a drummer helps as I feel the music through my soul- and it's Goa and PsyTrance music that is very cathartic. I rarely dance to anything else.).
- Able to speak only a little Spanish, Thai, French, Portuguese, and Tagolog. I like to make others feel comfortable with their surroundings, so I'm very much into culture, history, ethnic backgrounds, lifestyles, etc.
- Educated - I do have an Associate's degree in Computer Informations Management and additional training at the Art Institute of Seattle.
- Very open-minded and I don't have tunnel-vision as I see things from all angles, black and white, and the color that surrounds everything.
- Very spiritual and Electronic music has helped me get to that level over the past 11 years and yet part of me is moving in a different direction, but I'm letting God lead me there as I'm not the one making those decisions.
- A Christian, but I don't worship in churches (temples built by the hands of man) and my congregation is everyone who I meet on a day-to-day basis.
- Somewhat controversial as I don't stand for the national anthem (I don't believe in what our government has done to the American people, what they're doing to the American people now, and what they will do to the American people in the future).
- A lover... and that means a real, genuine lover. I have dispensed my love to many women my whole life but only been in love about 11 or 12 times (in 25 years). I'm highly experienced with being intimate, making love, sex, eroticism, etc. I'm not too proud of that, but I do know that when I'm single- I am a definitely a true lover.
- Always honest and I don't hide behind the truth.
- A Scorpio, but the negative traits of a Scorpio (possessiveness/controlling, impatient, jealous, etc.) I've worked on a LOT and people sometimes don't know my sign... especially those into astrology. That's when I really laugh at that when it happens. :D
- Into those astrological signs of women who are anywhere from a Pisces to a Leo, although other signs like a Libra, Sagitarius, and Capricorn might work. I usually stay away from Virgos and Aquarius'. Scorpios are hot in bed together, so it depends on the Scorpio I date. Taurus, Aries, Pisces are the best fits overall.
- Very, VERY fun to be around. I go to the BEST parties ever- outdoor Goa / PsyTrance parties and even indoor parties in the fall and winter, but haven't gone to many this year.
- A professional by day (Administrative Assistant with a sales and marketing background {over 17 years experience}) and a modern-day hippy by night.
- Laidback, easy-going and organized (I don't clutter or those that "collect" all the time with junk).
- Very domestic (I do house-cleaning, laundry, dishes, dusting, vaccuuming, and I prefer people take off their shoes when entering the home).
- A cook. Well, I LIKE to cook, but cooking is not my profession. I enjoy making Thai Coconut Curry Chicken with basil and bamboo shoots, red pepper (red or green curry), and enjoy making Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo with sundried tomatoes and garlic cloves. :D
- Into culture, and when dating - I prefer women from a different nationality other than the "mainstream American - All-American girl" type. Women who are Spanish, Asian, South American, Latin, European, Russian, Thai, Ethiopian, Indian, Japanese, Australian are all on the top of my list.
Just so you know I am for real, this is what I've done in our community up in Seattle and in Portland:
- I promoted about 5 years in Seattle and 1 year in Portland.
- I first started going to raves in 1998 (my first rave was "Teddy Bears Always Say I Love You" - a party that Groovin Kim {Raverbooks} invited me to. Then, I went to "PooP" (party out in the woods - around Skykomish), Pollux 23 (Erik's 23 birthday), and many others.
- Then, I went to "Twisted in the Forest"... the best party ever (September, 1999).
- My first party was "MooNFesT 2000" - was to be a 2-day outdoor party and it got shut down in 4 hours.
- People then knew how serious I was about giving BACK to the community and being a huge part of it.
- I represented a DJ (Justin Byrnes) and booked him at other parties I threw.
- Our "Earthdance 2000 (or 2001)" was being reported by John Norris with MTV and Dan Rather of 60 Minutes for a 60 Minutes special with the story of ecstasy (pros and cons) and DanceSafe at events.
- I was involved with the "Phoenix Festival" (II & III) - in southwest Washington. The 2nd Phoenix Festival was 18 theme camps and we had the
"Om Chai House" - which was a chill-out theme camp but with upbeat
music (I booked Mad Wax from Colorado).
- After the 2nd Phoenix Festival, I was approached by 2 of my friends (Isis and Osiris - who were married at that time) to be involved with the Oracle Gatherings - to set up downtempo / chill-out areas (highly decorative), lush with pillows and blankets, comforters, incense burning, an alter, candles lit, everyone in full bliss. So, I was involved with the 2nd - 9th Oracle Gatherings (there were 23 in all).
- I also then went to Burning Man (2001) and was part of the "Comfort Zone" area (very large area with party people - our community which included the Oracle Gathering crew, Church of Mez, us - the Om Chai House, and others.
- I also went to Gathering of the Tribes (week long seminar in a warehouse down in L.A. which talks about estatic dance, promoting legally, sponsorships, etc. and ended up with a desert party at the end of the week in Mojave Desert).
My life has been filled with nothing but hurt and devastation. While I wait to go "home" as I call it... I have to suffer and put up with everyone else on this planet. No- I don't feel sorry for myself nor do I not like myself. I love myself but am not conceited (I'm very in touch with myself, happy with myself, etc.), it's just others I can't stand. Although, I still dish out my love (as a friend) to many... and tolerate those around me. I do get to the point where I say- "I'm not going to take it anymore"... but, still am calm in nature to still try and make it through this life.
Love and Light, Many Blessings.... Namaste,
M
