61Venice Mary is a published author, who’s written both print and online articles for various publications on a wide range of subjects. However, her main subjects are centered on her passions for embroidery, art and sharing her Christian faith with other people.
She began her writing career, years ago, writing feature stories for a local weekly North Palm Beach County newspaper. Her writing was interrupted for two decades with the demands of motherhood and substitute teaching. Thanks to the internet, Venice Mary resumed her writing when she discovered FaithWriters.com in 2005 where she’s written 93.flash-fiction stories for the Christian’s writing site’s “Weekly Writing Challenge.” There, she’s won several Editors’ Choice awards.
When her husband retired, in 2007, she was thrilled to find some online writing gigs that actually paid money. Since then, she’s earned revenue and upfront payment for writing content for sites, such as “Associated Content (Yahoo Voices!) and “Suite 101.” She’s also produced thousands of content pieces for Demand Studios, Writers Domain, Blogmut, Textbroker and WritersAccess. What’s more, Venice Mary has written 21 eBook articles, many of which are based on her worldwide travels and artwork.
