Joined the Army in 2004 and spent 4 years with C Co. 3rd PLT, 1/32 INF BN (CHOSIN), 3rd BDE (SPARTANS), 10th MTN DIV (Fort Drum, NY). Deployed to the Kunar Province (Pech River Valley), Afghanistan for 16 months from 2006-2007 as a Forward Observer during Operation Enduring Freedom (CJTF-76/82).Transferred to a Recruiting and Retention NCO in 2007 and then a Training NCO for C Co. (Long Range Surveillance) 2-152 Reconnaissance and Surveillance Squadron, 219th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, 38th INF DIV. In 20013 Selected to the 38th INF DIV as the Division Commander Executive Admin NCO and Aide. Transferred in 2014 to 251st Engineer Company (SAPPER). Schools include Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC). MOS's include Fire Support (FO), Infantry, Communications, Combat Engineer, and Recruiter. In 2007 during "The 17 Hour Firefight" I was wounded and received the Purple Heart. I am currently a Staff Sergeant with 10 years of service.
