Now depending on where you live you will have a variety of predators that could harm your chickens. However a properly built chicken coop will help keep your chickens safe from the predators that could harm them.

      I know the farmer across the street from me uses an older large dog house. They told me that I could use a rabbit hutch for one as long as I do not over crowd it. So in a sense you do not need to have a coop, but I would recommend it if you plan having a large flock of chickens.

      Yes, they can be much cheaper Chicken tractor. However, what I have found in the world today is that many people want that instant reward for the purchase and not have to wait around. I guess that is why E-Books are so popular.
