Legacy of the Wild, a Menagerie of Grace and Beauty
Gallery of the Wild
Such a beauty is found and all to astound,
wild creatures that we all do see,
With marvelous grace, in each special place,
they move so wonderfully.
Of fur and feather, they exist together,
and each is so proud and so strong,
Great is their worth, born from the earth,
having freedom, there all to belong.
God created a trust, then placed in us,
of His wild creations to preserce,
Our lives to enhance, and not by chance,
a joyful life and happiness, to serve.
The hoot of the owl, call of the Whip-poor-will,
While wild ducks chatter, in their long flights,
The sounds of the wild, in whispers so mild,
Speak of a life that's so beautiful and bright.
Grey squirrels give chase on the limbs in a tree,
And red foxes cavort, and play near their den.
The brown deer scamper down by the creek,
All are such wonders, in their sights to seek..
No greater, these gifts, have we all been shown,
And such a tragedy, if they'd never been known.
How much we've been blessed. in seeing them all,
As we share this earth, with both the great and small.
Grace and beauty
A Blessing we've been given
Sounds of the wild
Sights to behold
We marvel in our gifts
