Dog parks in and around Pensacola
We all love our dogs and we want to make sure they stay healthy and get plenty of exercise and of course, have fun. My dogs love to go to the park, so when I moved here a year ago I started looking for places to take them.
I have a few of my favorites to share. first up is River Road Dog Park in Perdido Key. The address is : 14484 River Rd. 32507.This is a small waterfront park where your dogs can swim. It has a small picnic area and small obstacle course. This park also has a separate area for small dogs.
Next is Bill Dixon Dog Park,3151 Fenceline Rd.32507. This park is very quiet, I've never seen a lot of people there. There are two fenced in dog areas. One is for small dogs only. this park has a boat ramp, picnic areas and playground. This is A good park to go to if you don't want to be around a lot of people.
Now if your dogs love the beach like mine do, Pensacola Dog Beach West is a great park. This park is located on Fort Pickens Rd at Pensacola beach. Here you can relax on the beach and let your dog play in the water. Now your dog does have to be on a leash and people complain that it's small, but we enjoy it.
These are just a few good parks and there are many more, so get out there and explore.
