Who's Da Cat Staring Back at Me?

Who is that fat cat staring back at me?

"You're really quite a cool cat!

In fact, you're the cat's meow!"

What, giving me the silent treatment?

Cat got your tongue?

You're just aloofly standing there,

Grinning like a Cheshire cat,

Looking like the cat's whiskers,

And like the cat who got the cream.

Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat!

Soon we'll be fighting like cats and dogs!

Here, fat cat, take that! What's that?

You're imitating me!

This cat has exceptionally long whiskers. Truly fits the idiom - the cat’s pajamas or the cat’s whiskers – considering something or someone to be exceptional.

Cats on the Web

There is so much information available on the world wide web. It is so easy to get lost chasing rabbits, or cats, and that is exactly what happened to me. I was in the world of youtube and came across a cute video of a cat in the mirror, which lead to watching another, and another...

Before I knew it, more than an hour of my life had passed me by. Some of the videos were cute; and some of them were just plain dumb. Some really cute videos were ruined when their narration contained profanity.

Fortunately for you, I spent that time finding "the best of the cutest" videos of "the cat in the mirror".

Let's look at the videos of "Cat vs. Mirror"

I'm was reluctant to show this one first, because the others will have a hard time living up to the standard of this one. But then I found another one that I thought was even cuter, so decided it was safe to begin the fun of "cat in the mirror" here.

This video demonstrates how the cat may know what's going on. For one thing, it keeps coming back for more of that cat in the mirror. And for another, if it were serious about this, it would not take time to scratch that itch.

I'm not sure how I feel about this next video. Obviously this cat has done this before because it happens so quick and it would be impossible to catch on film the first time. And I'm not sure how you would stop it from happening again. The cat must be a slow learner. I did not notice until watching it a second or third time that the owner is actually holding the cat down at the beginning of the video. So the cat definitely knew what it was doing!?!

Cats can have very funny responses to things. When kittens do it, it can be even funnier. But the klutziness of the very young often adds a special charm to scenario. The kitten who sees this cat in the mirror is really amusing.

Now this one is really cute! I thought this would be a good one to end our set of videos. Enjoy!

That about covers our journey of "Who is the Cat in the Mirror?" I hope you have enjoyed this varied journey through the entertaining and amusing life of our four-legged friends - the kitty cat.
