Sparkle D. Dog : A Rat Terriers story on Valentine's Day

My tummy is so grumbly! Mom and dad were sleeping in and I saw a box of chocolates, on the coffee table. I could smell them and they smelled so delicious, it was like they were calling "EAT ME" . So I decided to go for it, I knocked the box down on the floor and luckily they fell open little and with just a nudge here and nudge there I was tasting a little piece of heaven. Something didn't feel right when I swallowed it, I had a lump in my throat. I went ahead and tried another one thinking it might be my conscience getting in the way. Soon after that I started feeling sick and I decided to sleep the effects off. Luckily Mom came in the living room "saying "OMG" sparky are you ok? Usually when mom scolds at me its no big deal, I just look the other way and pretend someone else did it, but when dad frowns at me, I think I must have really blew it with this chocolate business. Dad Had to clean my mess up because mom said she did last time. Mom said something to dad about going to the VET!! I hate going to the VET! Well just remember chocolate is heaven and hell, in a box for dogs. So be careful of us Terriers while celebrating Valentine's Day!

We have had our terrier Sparky for many years, ever since he was a pup. He is such a sweet and kind dog, Sparky is very intelligent. We call him Sparkle D. Dog. If you want a small dog that does not bark a lot like most little dogs. Terriers are wonderful, Sparky likes to lay beside us, a true lap dog. Sparky is still alive after the chocolate incident and I hope you all put your chocolates up on the counter or kitchen table instead of the coffee table. That was the moral of the story, we hadn't had him too long to realize, terriers like to pull some antics now and then. Happy Valentines Day!
