Gloria taught for many years, and also worked as a mental health group facilitator.

Enjoy this gallery of Glorious White Cats..all photos courtesy of C. Metcalf.

I grew up with a matched pair of white Angoras.  Their names were Frisky and Fluffy and they were adored. I have no photos of these dear pets in my album, but in honor of their enchanting, magical presence, I dedicate this Hub of Photos.

{If you are interested in procuring a white cat, be advised that some may go deaf and will have to be kept indoors for their own protection}.

Thank you for looking at the photos-wow, it's been ages since anyone left a comment on this Hub and I had forgotten about it. Have a lovely weekend with your cats; I have two cats, neither one white, however.

Enjoyed your hub...We had a white long haired cat when I was young she had one blue eye and one yellow eye. Very pretty.

We also had a long haired white cat when we were first married "Jake" he was beautiful and so strange in the way he acted.

We now have a long haired spoiled white cat he's also strange in the way he acts but we love him. He is beautiful and keeps himself so clean. He also crys for us to comb him which we do everyday actually more then once. His hair never mats. We have a long haired black cat we have to take in and get him shaved because he mats so much.

It sounds lovely--I just rescued a kitten from a feral mother; Stormy is black and white and makes high pitched metallic sounds while rushing in circles around the house--she's a character! Your Cats sound wonderful.

I have 2 beautiful white odd-eyed (heterochromia) cats. I didn't like cats until Spirit, a white oddie in an animal shelter caught my eye. I had never seen or heard of such jewel-like eyes. She came home with me that day and we bonded. Now I have 4 cats. The others are a blue-eyed long=haired dilute calico named Wisdom and a lime green-eyed medium-haired tortiseshell named Hope. My other white oddie is named Serenity.

Thank you--yes, ragdolls are very loose and lovable to pick up--and so mellow!

Our family has raised many Silver Persian cats in the past. They are white with silver blends. The one on top reminds me of my mom's current cat "Marty." In my household we have a white ragdoll cat... Ragdolls have the best tolerance for kids I've ever seen, at least ours does. Cool pics.

Interesting topic for a hub. I love the one with the bird. The one in the basket with the kitten and huge photo reminds me of a movie star. By the way, I had an orange striped cat named Frisky, and my brother had a grey striped cat named Fluffy.

I thought of your kitty when I put these together; they are so precious and magical-looking! Thanks for your feedback, Valerie!

Ooh, the one with the yellow bowl, and the last one look like my fluffy. Gorgeous they are. Just love em, and am voting you up. Had to come back to say I don't think it would be very smart for that bird to get that close to Fluffy, as he is a serial killer. (: v
