Click to help dogs in need!

Updated on March 6, 2013

Helping dogs is just a click away!

There are so many ways to help dogs in need. One of my favorite ways is to 'Click to Give.'

It's easy, fun, fast and can really help some pups in need of care, food and a new home to call their own.

Here we've put together some of the great sites that help pups (and other animals, too) through Click to Give programs. So sit back paw around and get clicking!

The Animal Rescue Site

The Animal Rescue Site is one of my favorite sites to 'click to give.'

Through the Animal Rescue Site's program vital care and food are provided to some of the eight million unwanted animals given to shelters every year in the U.S., as well as animals in need around the world.

Each click on the purple "Click Here to Give - it's FREE" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food and care for a rescued animal living in a shelter or sanctuary. The funding for food and care is paid by site sponsors and distributed to animals in need at the Fund for Animals' animal sanctuaries, pet shelters supported by the Petfinder Foundation, North Shore Animal League America, and the International Fund for Animal Welfare programs that save animals in dire situations worldwide.

100% of their sponsor advertising fees goes to our charitable partners.

Don't get distracted! - Get clicking!

Don't get distracted by cute cats on YouTube, get clicking to help dogs in need!

Free kibble for dogs in need!

FreeKibble.com was the brain child of 11 year old, Mimi Ausland, from Bend, Oregon. She wanted to help dogs and cats in her local animal shelter. From her wish, Freekibble.com was launched on April 01, 2008.

Freekibble.com's mission is to provide healthy, nutritious food to the dogs and cats at shelters. And now, FreeKibble is helping feed as many 1,000's of dogs and cats in shelters, rescues and through food-banks across the country... everyday.

Cool stuff for cool dogs!

Be sure and visit my website - JohannTheDog.com - where you can shop for cool stuff for cool dogs!

We've put together, in one place, all the cool stuff you need for your dog! You can find dog beds, all natural foods and treats, collars, leashes, charms, training and agility gear, vitamins and supplements, books, clothing, toys and more!

And the best part is we donate 10% of our profits to dog rescues and shelters!

Click to fight animal cruelty.

ClicktoGive.com is another site where you can help dogs in need. All advertising dollars created by clicking on the above 'Click to Give' button will go to the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

When you click it is registered in their system and every dollar made by the advertising show on the page goes directly to the ASPCA to help them fund their programs for animal cruelty.

Dig up some fun dog computer and other office stuff!

Play games to help dogs in need!

There are two sites that I like to visit where you can play games to help dogs in need.

The first one is the Animal Rescue Site. Each time you play one of their fun games 'Games that Give' a portion of the advertising from the site is donated to help shelter animals. It's free, easy and a fun way to help animals in need by playing some games.

The second one is from the Experience Project - the first social experience website where people are connecting with each other around experiences and ideas that matter the most to them. They have a fun trivia game you can play Every correct answer feeds a hungry shelter dog or cat. You can even see some of the dogs and cats that have been helped through the program on their website.

The third one is from FreeKibble.com; where you can answer one question about a dog each day. Right or wrong, everyone wins! All you have to do is click on the answer and they will provide 10 pieces of kibble to Animal Shelters to help feed their hungry dogs. Play Bow-Wow Trivia every day - the more you play, the more kibble for the dogs!

Click to give everyday!!!

What a wonderful way to show compassion. I am adding all of these sites to my daily click-to-give roster. Thank you for making me aware of additional ways that I can act on my love of animals. **Blessed**
