Dog Seat Belt-Pet Safety While Riding In The Car

When I travel with my dog Scooter, he wears a dog seat belt he likes to jump from the front seat to the back seat while I drive. It can be very distracting and often times prevents me from concentrating on my driving. At times this has gotten him a bump on the head or a fall off of the seat. He likes to stand on the center armrest and sometimes blocks my vision from the rear view mirror. This is very dangerous and I knew I needed to do something about it.

My old convertible was also a problem he would like to hang out the window and I always worried that he would fall out while I was driving. That is when I got him his first harness seat belt. I thought he would be upset by the device and might whine or bark when he wore it. He didn't he felt secure and now loves to wear it. The one he has is a full chest harness dog seat belt and it has a Sherpa lining that make it comfortable for him to wear.

I no longer have to worry about him blocking my vision or falling off the seat or out of the window. While we travel in the car he is safe and secure while he is wearing his seat belt harness. It is easy to put on him and adjusts with a tether which allows him some movement without all of the distraction and falling. I love the seat belt and I think he does too.
