    I was feeding Pet Valu brand Performatirin Ultra to my cats and I lose a 3 year old to Diabetes...

    her levels where 18 and should have been 4 I lost her a week after taking her to the vet on Thanks giving in canada. Then 8 weeks later 4 of my cats came down with diareha. Did these company not learn something from the major recall? Will the Gov not get strrickter laws on Pet food? The more I look into this the more it makes me Sick.     wow, what did your vet say? I would never feed something that has the word valu in the title of the food. Always check the label for quality ingredients that don't include the words corn, corn meal, bone meal, chicken or beef by-products, or wheat in the first 3 or 4 ingredients. Put them all on very bland diets of rice with chicken broth and check with your vet right away about the diareha. They made need an i.v. to rreplace fluids and or some kitty kaopectate. Good luck to you friend.
