I am wondering about the ARKAT Brand dog food...Veterinarian Formulated Dry dog food.
I have recently been buying my dog the Veterinarian Formulated Dry food, Senior formula. I could not find any ratings for this particular brand, but reading on their site and the bag info it seems pretty safe.

Just curious what brands folks are feeding thier dogs and why? Have you done much research on what is good for your dog? Do you give much preference to brand based on your dog's breed?

Recently the food was recalled, did your Dog get sick from eating this brand. I experienced illness with my dog in the Ohio area, need to hear from you, thanks, scb2649

I am having a little trouble. My dog is used to the Alpo brand but I have been unable to get it in the stores so had to switch to Purina. Now she wont eat it unless I add table scraps. Most of my food is spicy so am unable to add scraps on those occasions. I am worried because she is pregnant.Does...

Why does my dog chew off my other dogs fur? How can I get him to stop?we rescued a toy poodle mix ( not sure of the mix part so I call him a poothing) Teddy. Teddy like to pluck my other toy poodle's (Einsien) fur off. I cut Einstien's hair short but Teddy continues to eat Einstien's hair off....

What is the best brand of dog food for a American Pit bull Terrier?Currently I am feeding him Iams, but he does not like to eat it unless I pour hot water over it and sometimes he still does not eat. I am also worried he is not getting enough nutrition, because he is constantly trying to eat poop....
