Can cats and dogs live in harmony, sometimes, always or never?
Sure they can. My aunt has a dog and a cat. They sleep, play and even eat together.
I believe it depends on the situation. In my household, my dogs and cats get along just fine, as long as they aren't too close to each other for too long. Just today, my female cat, Bella, hissed at my 6 lb Chihuahua Tiny, just because he got up by her face for too long.
Cats and dogs can definitely live in harmony. My daughter's cat lays her head on the dogs belly while they sleep. They will even share the same dog bed. Very cute.
I know it is possible because I have a Shetland Sheepdog and a cat who get along well. The dog came first and the cat came as a kitten years later. They're both male, but I don't know if that makes any difference. The dog just lets the cat do whatever it wants, even if the cat wants the dog's food, Scout (the dog) is so easy going that I am sure Snoop (the cat) takes advantage of him, but they never fight or chase each other or anything like that.
never, they are always a permanent enemy to each other

Why do cats stare at walls? We've had a few cats that do this, for hours sometimes- just sit there staring or following something along the wall(s) with their line of sight we can't see at all. Does anyone have an idea...

Do Cats or Dogs make better pets?My cat is so cute sometimes - and smart. And he knows how to be nice when he needs something... But he is not selfish - he lets me mess with him sometimes when I'm in a bad mood.

Is it just me or are others finding that it takes too much time for the green 'share' to respond? Sometimes I have to click 2 or 3 times.

So which do you think is smarter, cats or dogs? I know that all their personalities differ, and it depends on the breeds. But overall, I'd have to go with the felines, cats. Yes dogs have a higher social intelligence...
