Is sand okay for a tank for a baby ball python?
My daughter has a 1 year old baby ball python and put sand on the bottom of her tank - I've researched it and can't find if this is okay or not. She won't listen to me - of course - so is sand okay for a baby ball python? thanks for any help anyone can give me
My nephew has literally dozens, I think 27+ snakes, most of them are the same as your daughter's, a ball python. He says newspaper is best. He keeps his on shoe racks with just newspapers, heaters underneath a bowl, and a hide.
I asked him and he said if you feed it out of the cage, sand is fine. It's just a hassle to clean the cage I guess, since he has 27 or so snakes. He even has an 8 foot boa.
