    A pet is a companion to help comfort you when times get rough... and of course to keep you entertained!

    A pet is any non-human being that you care for by feeding them, housing them, cleaning them, loving them, etc. They entertain you some days, frustrate you on others, but at the end of the day, you still love them.

    So pets are like furry children! That's my answer.

      Yep, they are truly like furry children - unless they're a fish of course!! LOL!!  I guess that tells us that we love them not only because they are lovable, but also because we invest our time and energy in them.  Am I right?

    It is a part of your family that tends to have four legs with a tail but also can be a fish.  They can cuddle with you when you need a cuddle partner and they do not judge you.
