Strangers got together and rescued a deer that was trapped in the freezing waters of Patapsco River in Baltimore. After the deer was saved, a natural resources officer (really?) ticketed the rescuers for not wearing life vests, even though the officer was watching the rescue progress the whole time. What an a--hole. I hope he gets more than a lump of coal. I hope after the letters of outrage that the agency gets, that the agency rip him a new one. It's ridiculous the our government doesn't hire people with intelligence and common sense.
For some reason it doesn't shock me. Just like that story a little while ago where the lady got fined for not picking up her dogs poop because she accidentally picked up the wrong pile.
