Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the question of the ages, pondered by animal lovers since time immortal. This is a contest, a clash, a competition. The line is drawn. Which side will you choose? Canine or feline? Bow-wow or meow-meow? If you dare to answer the unanswerable, proceed to the world's greatest presentation of puppies vs kittens.

Puppies or kittens?

I've scoured the world for the best pictures of puppies and kittens. After viewing the photographic evidence, I ask you to make your choice at the end.

Here we observe a typical puppy weighing about one pound with standard features: 2 ears, 2 eyes, 4 paws, and 1 nose. Puppies are frequently found with mouths open, tongues lolling. The open-mouthed expression indicates a friendly, excited demeanor.

An average kitten is shown here. Although similar to puppies, kittens possess gentler features of the nose and tongue. Even at a young age, this kitten possesses the smug sense of superiority common to kitten-kind. Notice the stifled half-laugh? He is laughing at you, of course.
