The Best Dog Poop Bag Dispenser
This isn't a glamorous topic or a product that anyone eagerly dreams about buying, but a poop bag dispenser is something every responsible dog owner needs. As everyone who has a dog knows, when you take a dog for a walk, they always get the urge to relieve themselves, a spot that they use as a toilet, restroom, comfort station - ok - lets call it what it is - they need to poop! Scooping up poop left by your dog It is not only common courtesy, but is also mandated by law in most areas.
I currently have two dogs and live in a suburban neighborhood. To make sure both my dogs and I get enough exercise we usually take at least 2 walks a day. I also like to take my dogs to dog parks, camping and on hikes. Did I mention that I often have additional dogs that I'm fostering or taking care of for friends or family while they are on vacation? So I pick up a lot of poop which has given me a pretty vast experience using various different poop bag dispensers.
I have used the types that have a lid that snaps on the top that you need to remove to refill the bags. I found the lids almost impossible to remove without a pair of vice grips. I have tried many others that look cute, but the bags didn't pull out smoothly from the dispenser. To attach these other dispensers to the leash, I had to drill a hole in the leash and use a zip tie. The zip ties would break. And there was no place on most to put the used bags that are full of poop.
Then I found what I consider the best little poop bag dispenser ever! The Earth Rated Poop Bag Dispenser has a lid that easily screws off and on to replace the bags. It has a handy little loop that can be attached to a leash, belt or belt loop that has a Velcro closure and it even includes a clip to attach the used bags that are full of doggie doo! I like using the lightly scented biodegradable bags that come with the dispenser, but any regular roll type of dog poop bags fits inside to be used as replacement bags.
Best of all, these poop bag dispensers are affordably priced so I have two - one attached to each of my dog leashes to make sure I always have one with me whenever I walk my dogs.
