"Little Blue Eyes" The Curious Kitten
Once upon a time in November of 2009 to be exact, the local stray cat who is a beautiful siamese female showed up at our house with her very curious kitten, that we quickly dubbed "Little Blue Eyes".
One look at this adorable kitten and I knew I was not going to let him live the life of a stray, it became my quest to find him a home.
This is about one day in the life of Little Blue eyes, from his prospective.
They call me "Lil Blue eyes" - I kind of like that name
I am walking tall, see how high I can hold my tail up!
They keep telling me I have crossed eyes - but I think my eyes are straight
Do my eyes looked crossed to you? I think all of your eyes are wrong!
This is my mom - I love to jump on her
This is my Mom, I love to pounce on her when she is least expecting it, I sneak up on her and then one giant leap and I am on her head. "rrrroar, gotcha!".
This is where I get my blue eyes - from my mom!
Isn't she just a pretty cat? She is a Siamese mix and really doesn't have a home.
Did I tell you I love my mom - She lets me climb on her
My mom is the best in the whole wide world, she lets me climb all over her!
This is my mom - I love her dearly
She stays with my through thick and thin!
Look mom did you see it move - that leaf, right there!
Mom, did you see that? It moved, right there, by your foot, there it moved again!
I don't think she sees me coming - I am very sneaky
I don't think she expects that I am about to pounce on her...again!
Sometimes my mom can be cranky - Cranky mothers!
My mom seems to like to play sometimes and other times she is all business, "don't do that" "too rough" or "behave yourself" geez I was just trying to play with her!
I didn't mean to Mom! - Do you think she is tired of playing again?

This lady keeps following me around with a clicky thing, I will pause and pose for one second, then I am off again. I hope she tires soon that clicking box she holds is annoying as well as her giggling noise that escapes her mouth...people!
The big green mountain - Someday I will climb this
This is the big green mountain, I really want to see what the world looks like from on top of it.
I don't think it is that tall - It is big...and green

How to get a kitten from a rescue, or petfinder
Are you looking for a kitten.
ideas for finding a kitten for your family.
1. Talk to neighbors and friends, it seems like someone always has kittens they need to find homes for.
2. Check your local newspaper or local news website in the classified section. There are always "Free Kittens" in our classified ads.
3. Check with your local animal shelter or pound.
4. Check Craigslist.
5. Check online on petfinders in your local area.
6. If you are looking for a specific cat breed, try a google search for "Siamese kitten rescue" or "Siamese Cat Rescue".
What you have to go? - Don't be sad!
Please don't worry about me, I found a wonderful home with the clicking ladies sister and she just got me a puppy friend! We play for hours on end.
My mom? Don't worry about her either, the clicking lady neighbor gave her a home. So they still see her from time to time.
What can you do to help so that none of my relatives have to live on the streets?
1. Give a stray cat a home, there are plenty of us out there. Oh they may not be quite as cute as me, because as you can see I am pretty darned cute. But they all have personalities that will entertain you for hours!
2. My mom says people shouldn't breed cats and should always get their cats spayed or neutered. Because there are plenty of un-wanted cats in the world that need homes. Cats don't want to keep having babies and watching them starve, they want to be responsible but they need your help to stop!
3. Take good care of your cats, because no matter how much we like to pretend you don't matter, you are the world to us!
I hope you enjoyed one day in the life of Little Blue eyes, I know I enjoyed having him in my life for a few days before he went to his new home!
This entire photo shoot lasted maybe 15 mnutes, so you can see how busy this little guy was and why his mom was ready for me to help her find a good home for him to go to.
