The problem is, we like long walks, they have very short legs and can only walk short distances. We couldn't just tie them up and come back for them later, couldn't carry them for a long walk and couldn't take them in to stores.

So what was the solution?

One day while out for a walk in town we saw a couple walking towards us with what we thought was a baby buggy. When we got closer, it was easy to see that there was a dog and not a baby in the buggy.

WOW! The light came on and both of us said at the time time, "we need one of those".

And here they are, all zipped up, safe, secure and ready for their daily stroll.

One thing my wife and I both like, is the fact that we can secure both of our dogs in a zipped up environment and they can still see all around them.

Far too often you see pets on leashes that are all over the place. Getting in the way of other people, getting wrapped up in each others leash and generally being a pain. With this dog stroller, we have none of those problems.

And best of all, there is no chance of a stranger putting their hand in front of the dog's face, taking them by surprise and getting bitten.

Speaking of getting bitten, I love to have them up and off the ground when we are on walks in the woods, this keeps them away from snakes and out of harms way.

When you are a 5 pound Chihuahua and love to go for walks, you appreciate all the help you can get.

Daphne is like a sprinter, she goes strong for a short distance but then "hits the wall".

Used to be that my wife would have to carry her, but now she just puts Daphne in the doggie stroller and the "little princess" can survey all her subjects.

After a short rest Daphne is ready for another segment of her walk.

She Loves To Walk And Ride In The Doggy Stroller

Nellie is our Long Haired Dachshund who has the heart of a champion. When we go for a walk she will keep on going no matter how tired she gets.

Now that we have the dog stroller, she will walk for a while then stop and look at the stroller, as if to say, "OK time to ride". It's amazing how quickly they learn and how these things become part of their routine.

Now that she is getting older and has legs that are only 3 inches long, a short break in the Pet Gear Pet stroller is very welcome for her.
