A Valentine's Day Wreath
I love wreaths.
I love to try to make them. I am not the best when it comes to crafting. I have the desire and all the "want to" a girl could have, but the creative part of my brain is severely underdeveloped.
I really wanted to make a Valentine's Day wreath, but it had to be easy.
So I googled "tutorial for an easy Valentine's Day wreath" or something like that.
I came across a nifty little blog called The Crafty Nest who had a very easy tutorial on how to make a Valentine's Day wreath out of felt.
Seriously...easy peasy.
What is needed:
- A styrofoam circle or heart
- 1 yard of felt
- pins
That is it folks..
With the felt you cut out circles...lots and lots of circles. I used a spool of ribbon to make my circle template.
Once the circles are cut, fold them half, then half them one more time.
Stick a pin at the corner of your halved and halved again circle and push it into your wreath.
Do this many...many...many times and you will have one fine looking, easy to make, Valentine's Day wreath.
It is a bit time consuming, so you may want to pop in the movie The Notebook or some other incredibly sappy love story movie to keep you motivated!!
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
