Artsy Fartsy Part 1 Pencil Drawings
I noticed a few Hubbers have shared their artwork here. I wanna play too.
I have dabbled in art for as long as I can remember. Preferring lead to crayon, I pilfered every pencil I could find as a kid and used them until there was nothing left. My parents swear my yen for graphite dates back to infancy when instead of drawing, I would stab flies with my pencils. (I know, hard to believe) and (who gives their baby a pencil?) Anyway, dinosaurs were some of the first things I remember drawing.
One day, when I was 6,I was jumping to touch the ceiling of the school bus with the eraser of my pencil and the lead stabbed me in the left palm and broke off where it remained for several years. I remember thinking, "This was a sign from God." The left was my special and important hand; if I was to do stupid things, they would be done with the right hand.
