Blanket From Left Over Wool (Crochet)

Updated on May 13, 2012

Are you wondering what to do of all the left over bulky yarns from your previous projects? Are there any ball of yarns that you know won't make a complete project and you don't feel like spending on buying new yarns? Don't worry, today's article is a perfect thing which will help you utilize all your left over ball of yarns. Let's get started.

Materials:

Lots of yarns (bulky recommended) no need for them to be new, just left over.

Size P Crochet hook.

Size "P" Crochet Hook

How to Make:

Ch 90. (Depends on how big you want, change the chain size) with 2 yarns.

Row 1: Dc in the 3rd ch from the hook. *Dc in each ch till the end, to have total of 88 Dc.

Row 2: Ch 2, *dc in each ch till the end.

Repeat row 2 till you have the length and size you want for your blanket. Use two yarns together, to give it a shaded effect. If one yarn ends before another, attach one yarn with the continued one and continue crocheting.

So glad you shared this. My Momma taught me to crochet when I was in my late teens. I have let it get away from me so a refresher is what I needed. I will need to give some of your ideas a try.
