Blanket Turned into Bag

Updated on May 13, 2012

Crochet Bag

This bag was supposed to become a beautiful baby blanket. My sister has a three year old daughter and I wanted to gift her a blanket for winter, i had made quite a lot of progress, when i realised that i had run out of wool. I searched in many stores for the same shade of wool. To my hard luck, I could not get it.

This Project was left aside for a few months. Then suddenly my mother had this brilliant idea to make it into a bag. with the little left over ball of wool, I made the braids for the handles and little edges at the bottom. It came out so beautifully, and I got a unigue bag for myself, which probably no one will ever have.

This is like making something out of nothing its a awesome creativity. Art of using unusable material and getting something out of it is called SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Woork), this is also on of it. I shall rate it infact use of art and creativity skills instead of superimposing the use of brain rather. Awesome work.
