Boho Your Dining Room Chair Cushions

Updated on March 2, 2016

Bungee Braid

Start by placing your cushion on the seat with the ties lined up to the rungs you will secure them to.

Next, tie each set of strings around the chair to secure the seat to the back of the chair.

Cross one piece of the fabric tie over the other horizontally at the base.

Fold the other tie vertically to start to create a tight weave.

Once you have woven the strands to about 1.5 inches from the bottom, tie them together in a double knot tightly at the ends.

Repeat the process on each set of ties and enjoy your boho braids!

Simple Weave

Start by placing your cushion on the seat with the ties lined up to the rungs you will secure them to.

Weave one string from one side through the rungs toward the other set of ties.

Continue alternating sides until you have woven all four strings through the rungs.

Once all strings are woven through, tie ends together in a tight, simple double knot on each end of the weave.

Enjoy your simple but sweet new dining room touch!

Quick Braid

Start by placing your cushion on the seat with the ties lined up to the rungs you will secure them to.

Cross ties behind the rung of the chair snugly.

Repeat this again slightly higher than the base.

Tie strings together at the back of the chair to create a tight, cute "bow" at the top of the braid and you're done!

These are great ideas. I personally like the weave best. I must say I have been lazy and usually just have mine loose which isn't good because the dog pulls it off the chair and uses it as a bed.

      Clever ideas.
