Picture Slide Show of Canadian Goose

Canadian Geese are big waterbirds. They have a black head and neck, a white chinstrap, a light tan to cream breast and a brown back. I have always LOVED these birds. Growing up in Colorado we didn't get to see them except for the wintertime. Their "V" formations amazed me the most I think. Such elegance in flying! I also loved seeing an entire pond covered with geese. They always seemed to be one big happy family (with the occasional fights of course).

Below are some pictures I have recently taken of Canadian Geese that are here by my house. Since I have kids now it is even more special to stop and see them. The kids love feeding them and we have convinced them that if they "honk" to the geese that the geese can understand them. When we go to the dock the kids start "honking" and over come the geese. It's so adorable!!! I hope you enjoy my pictures.
