Crochet Clothings Video - Bolero
Winter is here! My mum's way of showing her appreciation for winter and crochet. She wanted to make something for herself that she could wear to work on a not so chilly day, when the weather is beautiful.
This is not her original pattern. Below is the video on youtube where my mother found the actual pattern. This pattern is so simple, she was done within one and half day, which usually adds up with her job and house chores. So I guess it probably takes 5-6 hours, but it depends on one's speed too.
This is obviously not a beginner crochet pattern. To rate the skill level, I would rate it to be Intermediate.
Materials Required:
Lion Brand: Pound of Love Yarn - Pastel Green
Size J/10 (6 mm) Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Measuring Tape
Front Side
The wool used for this project was first used to make a baby blanket. The whole blanket was opened and left aside. Then my mother was adamant that she will make a project from this wool. We had tried many different things - baby blankets, shawls, scarves and even hats. All were a big fail and this yarn was crocheted and reopened a lot many times. ( I wanted to say a million times).
My mother finally made this bolero and was satisfied with it. Completed the project and I say it is beautiful! I really appreciate all the crochet projects made by "YolandaSoTopolez".
