Five Up-And-Coming Photography Businesses in Orange County
1. Faith Elder Photography
Faith is my good friend from college. We both attended BIOLA University. She studied photojournalism and was on the school newspaper staff.
After graduation, she went back to BIOLA as a photojournalism teacher for several years. Her photos are amazing, and she is truly a talented photographer!
She took my Senior photos for college, and also took the photos for my wedding reception.
She has an amazing eye for design, and knows how to capture light beautifully!
Please do check out more of her work on her official website:

2. Lovelock and Co
My husband and I are friends with an amazing photographer, blogger, and adoption advocate named Ashley Wingo, who is the founder and owner of Lovelock and Co.
She took our Engagement Photos, and she did a fantastic job! Everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are.
She also writes a hilariously entertaining and insightful blog about her life, family, and children, including three biological children and one precious adopted son. She and her family are also planning on adopting more children in the future.
I highly recommend this photographer as well, and encourage you to visit her website for more: www.lovelockandco.com
3. Three16 Photography
Our good friend from church, Jerrick Ian O'Connor, is the founder of Three16 Photography. I really appreciate the fact that he named his business after one of the best and most famous Bible verses, John 3:16. He does wedding and engagement photos, family sessions, portraits, events-- you name it! He has an excellent team of professionals that work with him to make sure your photos turn out amazing. He has done several family and wedding sessions for people from our church, and his work is always excellent. Many, many families have a treasure trove of fantastic family photos in their homes (and on their Facebook pages!) thanks to this talented photographer! Jerrick has an office in the Orange Circle in Orange, California.

4. Angelito Photography
Our good friend Angelito Van Dam, who also attends our church, has a wonderful photography business. He does portraits, wedding and engagement photos, family sessions, graduation photos, and so on. He recently took our family portraits, and I was able to use them on our 2015 Christmas cards! He does such wonderful work, as anyone can see from looking at his extensive online portfolio. We were really blessed that he did such a good job on our photos. Whenever kids are involved, especially toddlers, taking family photos is no easy task! However, Angelito was super patient and somehow managed to take some beautiful photos that our family will treasure forever!

5. Kincannon Photography
Brittney and Jeremiah Kincannon are the artists behind Kincannon Photography. My husband and I have been friends with this sweet couple for a few years now. We actually knew them before they got married and had their adorable son, Matthew, who is about our son's age. These two are both very talented, and they do an excellent job with their business. They cater to families and specialize in maternity, "fresh 48" and newborn photo sessions. Brittney also blogs about her passion for photography. She has written a very interesting and meaningful blog post about her "why" for pursuing a career in photography, which you can read on her website.
