Updated on August 15, 2011

Wanna have the best autocad and cad tutorial online? It's free and covers amazing comprehensive cad training course. This is the perfect site to learn autocad and the latest architecture software in the world today. It's free so enjoy!

I’ve always been so interested with drafting and architecture. Growing up inclined with drawing and painting, I thought of taking up Architecture or Fine Arts in college but my path has drift into a left turn, I’ve taken up another course not so related with architecture. Now, I’m planning to learn Cad and AutoCad drafting and architectural cad.

Back in the days when drafting was still so manual, I was fascinated by 2d and 3d perspective drawings. Now that everything upgraded into computer aided designs and architectural desktop, everything that is within one’s creativity and imagination is just a click away. So, I’m now spending extra couple of hours taking up autoCad training course basics making me so curious to learn ACAD symbols, creating custom bitmap materials, sky backgrounds, units and scales, drawing objects, 2d and 3d cad concepts and other 2010, 2011 AutoCad fundamentals and beyond. And did I say I’m not enrolled in an actual CAD school taking up autocad course and actual cad classes? Yup, I’m taking autocad training and tutorials online and this is all free.

Why take up AutoCad Classes?

  • I love Architecture - I take it because it’s my passion.
  • As a fulfillment – it’s a new accomplishment hey :)
  • I love building designs – who knows you could design and build a new skyscraper, a city center, malls and casinos, your own designed resort world
  • AutoCad jobs pay a lot – AutoCad jobs are so indemand and pay a lot. Be it freelance and fulltime
  • No need to hire someone to design your new house – Yup, yup if you became a Cad drafter, you can make your own blueprint of your fancy house. No need for you to seek cad drafting services.
  • A way of learning – this is life, we live, we learn.

Why take AutoCad training online?

I know you might think if one would want to be a professional, he must take up actual classes. But as what I’ve mentioned, I don’t dream to be a professional architect nor AutoCad operator. I just take it as a new learning experience and to be back to my old passion. And as a preparation to who knows what if I had liked it and enjoyed it so much, then perhaps taking the next level would be possible. And so, I’ve listed the reasons why take autocad classes online. Read on:

  • To prepare to a more professional degree – this helps a lot especially if you’re still a student and later be in college, wanting and dreaming to be a professional drafter and to have a degree in architecture and engineering. Taking up free AutoCad training course online is a huge cake to take for granted. It’s there waiting for you to take it and learn it.

What is AutoCad and Why it is so Popular Architectural & Construction Industry?

“AutoCAD is one of the most popular Computer Aided Design programs developed to help professionals design and analyze products, buildings or structures without having to draw up plans manually. While CAD applications prior to AutoCAD involved large amount of computing power in the form of gigantic computers. AutoCAD has simplified its operations to optimize it for the IBM PC, allowing people to work from home or on their own workstations.

AutoCAD uses DWG as a standard file format which is now largely accepted as a standard for all CAD design and drafting work. As per industry estimates there are more than 1 billion DWG files are in operation around the world today. Although a number of other CAD applications are present at this point, including programs for UNIX and Mac OSX, AutoCAD continues to be the undisputed leader and parks a number of standards in the CAD community.

AutoCAD has many in-built tools to help architects or designers work on individual projects. The software is comprehensive in its nature focusing more on 2D/3D renderings and also incorporates industry standards for product design and animation. The software gives seamless integration between other software and low cost high-speed prototyping is in many ways changing the way design is being carried out, and has by and large eradicated barriers to entry.” -
