Anything goes with weddings now. You can have a casual affair or go all out with a traditional wedding. The weddings I have enjoyed the most are those that are simple, but you can see the love of the bride and groom, just by the way they look at one another.

Butter Cream Wedding Cake - The cake is offered by Berroco Yarn. It is wonderful. The layers are created so that they can protect china dishware afterwards. Berroco Ultra Alpaca was used to design the cake. You'll need a E and G hook. Crochet this keepsake, you won't be sorry. The cake would work well if the bride prefers something for dessert other than cake or use it as a table centerpiece. It would make a great shower centerpiece too.

Crochet Wedding Accessories - Mom's Love of Crochet offers this free patterns for a wedding cake topper with bells, a lacy sachet, a wedding ring doily, floral trim for vases for the tables, a potpourri bag, and a wedding photo frame.

Wedding Bell Pattern - By The Learn to Crochet site, this is a nice pattern for any bride. I'm not familiar with the custom, but many brides are given a wedding bell to go with her bridal ensemble. It is hung down the dress. A close relative usually gives her the bell. Even if you don't follow this tradition, it would be a nice gift to give the bride as a keepsake or used for decoration on tables etc.

This bell is created with size 10 crochet cotton thread and a size 2.5 mm hook. You'll also need ribbon for the bell.

Wedding Favors Basket - The Learn How to Crochet site offers another pretty pattern for a wedding basket, but it has an entirely different style. It is rated Easy. You'll need size 20 crochet cotton and a 1.5 mm crochet hook.
