Fun and Easy Fall/Autumn Projects for the Younger Kids
HAND TREE
This project is easy and good for younger kids. Depending on the age of the child, an adults help may be needed when using the scissors.
Things you will need
- Brown Construction Paper.
- Crayons or markers to decorate the tree trunk.
- Colorful leaves.
- Glue
- Scissors
Instructions
- Place hand and forearm on top of the construction paper.
- Trace hand and forearm. (make sure fingers are spread wide apart)
- Use scissors to cut out your trace.
- Use crayons or markers to decorate the "trunk" (if desired)
- Take your leaves and glue them to the tree fingers.
FALL WREATH
The Fall Wreath is extremely easy and good for all ages.
Things you will need
- Styrofoam wreath ring (can be found for just a couple of dollars at Walmart or any craft store)
- Colorful leaves.
- Glue
Instructions
- Glue leaves to styrofoam ring until completely covered with leaves and the ring can't be seen.
LEAF IMPRESSIONS
Things you will need
- A leaf or leaves
- Plain white paper (computer paper works best)
- Crayons
Instructions
- Place leaf or leaves on a flat surface, such as a table.
- Lay the paper over the leaves.
- Use crayons to color over the paper to create leaf impressions.
