How To Incorporate Your Sketches Into Your Writing

Pen And Paper

Take Pen and Scrap Paper

Take Pen and Scrap Paper, yes I stated scrap paper. Use an ordinary pen that you write letters, that is if you still write letters and take an outer envelope from your junk mail. First of all observe the envelope to see where its corners are attached. When you find these corners take them in hand and start to disassemble separating one part of the paper from the other in a careful manner. Tailor the size of the scrap paper either by folding and ripping or employ the use of scissors.

Practice But Enjoy It

Fun Practice

After you, the artist, completed sizing the scrap paper, take pen or pencil (as a reminder it does not have to be anything specialized, just ordinary and every day pens and pencils) and start practicing your drawing or scribbling strokes while watching television or just relaxing on the sofa. Find a clip board or other hard surface and place it under the paper for support purposes. During the process of creating this work of art, imagine discovering the release of a calming therapeutic overall sensation. Image you are a child painting at an easel in a preschool class. The assistant teacher comes over to you and says, "I like the way you added those strokes to your artwork". This sketching process is the primer to, or to word it simply, by starting the habit in creating good drawing skills. Compare this philosophy to learning how to play the piano. Those mundane finger exercises can limber those digits to be fit for playing Chopin or Mozart.

Pen In Hand Scanner By Demand

Suppose you feel that you are finished with your artistic doodle, or let us word it in a different way, artistic sketch. Place it aside in a folder and look at it tomorrow. Even though the popular expression tomorrow never comes insist in your mind that it does. When tomorrow does arrive, take out your sketches and observe whether or not they need any alteration. If they do, then take pen in hand. If they are complete, then warm up your aging and on life support Pentium II or Mac and attach the USB cord of the free scanner (this is the scanner that was given to you by a the neighbor who thanked you for that special chore you did for her) to the central processing unit and plug the other wire into the surge protector strip. Turn on the scanner if it is not on already and place your sketch face down onto the lighted glass part. Place the scanner cover down. Find the section on your computer and select which scanner icon you are going to use. Go through the process of scanning your picture and then save it on your hard drive, CD and or flashdrive. If you have imaging software installed on your hard drive, then you can become even more artistic and that teacher in your imagination can compliment you on the different special effects you added in your masterpiece.

How Bucolic?

How Bucolic Is The Economics Of Scrap Art? You might ask while sitting back on your office styled chair, sipping hot coffee and reading this hub on your monitor or laptop. Occasionally you are peering out the window feeling sheer boredom. It is something to consider. This 60+ year old food stamp recipient thinks it is well worth consideration. All in all I feel this sense of accomplishment and inner pride when I have done something that is not only creative but resourceful. My scrap art is featured as a background on my hub site and that includes my twitter site as well. In the meantime, release the inner Picasso, Monet, Jackson Pollack or Van Gogh and get going!
