How to draw a croissant

Updated on November 2, 2012

A croissant is a delicious, flaky pastry that has long been a staple in France. It is crescent shaped and the word "croissant" is actually the word for crescent.

In today's hub, you will learn how to draw a delicious looking croissant. Be sure to have all of your drawing supplies together and you're ready to go! This tutorial consists of only 4 easy steps. Keep reading to get started!

Step 1

Draw the top portion of your croissant like so. It will look somewhat like a curly line or a half drawn cloud.

Step 2

Next, draw in the bottom half of your croissant. At this point, you should have your basic croissant outline. Now it's time to add the details :D!

Step 3

Draw in various lines around the nooks of your croissant outline.

Step 4

Basically the same as step 3. Add in lines for detail around the croissant.

Step 5

Color in your croissant however way you want and that's that! I hope that was easy enough. Feel free to give me your thoughts on this hub :).
