How to draw a fresh tomato
It's been a while since I have done one of these! Today, I will teach you how to create a simple, but nice looking tomato. I will be posting a series of simple object hubs within the next few months. Not only are there not very many tutorials on some of the objects I will be covering, but I will be making them much easier to follow than ever before.
To begin doing this how to, just keep reading the other capsules below!
Step 1
I'm gonna start out by drawing the center of the tomato first. This is the spot where the stem usually sticks out of.
Step 2
Draw the outline of your tomato fruit. It's not going to be completely circular so you don't have to worry about it. Just give it an overall round and squishy shape!
Step 3
Start drawing the stem part of the tomato. There's usually tiny little leaves sticking out of top of the tomato core. the tiny leaves are pointed at the top and have sharp edges.
Since this tutorial is only for a black and white tomato sketch, you can add some shading to the mid section and the outer portion of the tomato. You Should also add some more detail to the tiny leaves as well! For the most part, that is all! You have a decent drawing of a tomato!
Feel free to let me know what you though of this tutorial! I tried to make it short, all the while, making it as descriptive as possible. Good luck!
