Summer Knits Free Patterns
Spring Is In The Air
I love the beginning of every season, but, I must say, spring is my favorite. It brings inspiration for new beginnings, creative urges, and life just starts to feel a little easier.
Something about the warmer temperatures and yet not too hot, just really motivates me.
Rather it be the mundane chores that need to be done around the house like spring cleaning, gardening or being creative. Spring just puts a bounce in my steps and makes working seem less of a chore.
Although the weather is warmer, the skies are brighter I still love to knit.
My knitting does not get put away and brought back out in colder weather.
Instead it changes and is geared more towards lighter clothing and smaller items. I do tend to put away the heavier items, like blankets, afghans, poncho's etc.,I save those for colder months., during the spring and summer months it is just too warm to be under a heavier knit item..
RIGHT?
As for socks and hats, although I do not wear them at this time of year I always have one or the other on my needles, because they are so portable, they can easily go where ever I go.

A Koozie For Your Drink Of Choice
I love sweet ice tea.
My go to drink in spring and summer is ice tea.
When I am working in the garden, watering the plants or just sitting on the patio relaxing, you can be sure I have brought a glass of ice tea along.
But I hate it when the condensation drips from the glass , dripping on my bare legs . Shocks me to the core when that happens.
Perfect solution to this problem is a mason jar and an ice tea cozy.
Also works well for hot or iced coffee and smoothies. I also like the fact that, these jars also have lids . Good for keeping out the bugs, bees and wasp.
Now you can even purchase these cute lids and straws in any color..How cute is that?
All you need is a pint size Ball or Mason jar, a few scraps of leftover yarn and this free Ravelry download ; Koozie For You
