Lago di Fimon

While we were in Italy we got to see many amazing sights. These pictures are of Fimon Lake, in Italian it is Lago di Fimon. Fimon lake is the last natural basin remaining of all the ones that used to fill the valleys in the Berici Hills. You could walk around the entire lake and at the time of year we went (in August 2011) it was completely covered in Lilly Pads. I had never seen so many lilly pads in one place before and it was just beautiful. Then we found a family of swans, two "teenager"s and two "parents". Those swans made the trip even more memorable! I hope you enjoy my pictures.
