Online Art Gallery " Angel Designs"
I decided to make a webpage where people can view my art as I make it. My art line is called "Angelic Designs". Its free ranged sketched, painted, ect. angel forms that are not what you would expect. Similar to Derrek Hess' work, but not as complex. I use ink, polish, beauty products, ect. to make them one of a kind pieces of art. I do various themes as well. Some are as small as 4x8 and as large as a poster board. I tend to do most around 8x11 prints. I use several types of paper to give/get different effects.
I started creating these angels when I was 19. It started as simple, faceless sketches and evolved into color popping, more detailed angels. The first one I ever made was actually two plain faceless figures intertwined together. They didn't have wings, nor halos, just plain figures. It was kind of like symbol for eternal love. Shortly after that, I added wings and halo's, followed by color and eyes, motives, emotions, ect.
Some are very peaceful, others are tormented by their evil side. Those are my fallen angels. They look darker, and some have horns. I did a few where both angel and demon are in the same piece to create a good and evil theme.
The first one to the right is love and lust. It show the angel holding a heart (love) and the fallen angel, or demon, holding fire (lust). The fire represents the hot, intense emotions and feelings lust brings, but the destruction it leaves then after. The angel holds the heart and is glancing back at the fire; the demons left hand sits on the angels shoulder, tempting him.
The second one to the right is a Christmas angel. It has various reds and greens to bring the angel to life. It can't be seen in the picture but there is glitter, and gem stones as well. His one wing is almost like gift wrap as his other is like lights. Up top there is ribbon to the right corner. I made it like a gift wrap, Christmas type angel for the holiday season. Very passive.
The last one can be viewed many ways. The angel is holding a lit bomb in front of it waiting for it to explode. There is red behind it with a black line passing through changing to the word "love".
