Photography: Complete Randomness!

Updated on February 29, 2012

Worn

Saw these on the porch one day and thought they looked interesting. Drained most of the color so that I could focus on the red star.

Random? Me?

I like to be random. Eclectic, if you will, and these photos definitely fall right in line with my randomness. When you carry a camera with you wherever you go, you never know what you might catch. Also, if you use a digital camera, you can just shoot away and not worry about using up expensive film! I don't have a fancy-schmancy camera either, just a regular old Kodak. However, I am still looking into getting a Holga soon. Considered toy cameras by some because they are cheap plastic film cameras, they have all these wonderful light leaks that streak across the film making groovy kinds of photos. Speaking of being random...that's what this paragraph was! Anyway, without further ado, I give you some of my favorite photos! Enjoy!

Dear Departed Logs

This is in a cemetery. I've always wondered why someone would choose logs as a headstone. Must have loved trees!

Lovely photos! What I especially like is that you don't have a 'fancy shmancy' camera but yet take really good and imaginative photos! Your eye and the results are beautiful. Voted up.

It's all about having the eye and you have it. I'm trying to develop it but it is a work in progress. Love this hub and the pictures are great.

I just noticed that the way you frame each picture also brings it out. I like it, especially the pond scum!

catalystsnstars, thank you! I like to add a frame to complete each one. If I don't, the photos seem kind of naked to me.
