What can I say about Photography?

Updated on July 10, 2012

One of my many hobbies is photography. I'm quite smitten by its standard. What's the standard? It's quite simple. A camera and an object. Or, a camera and the person. That's about it. You and your camera and you are good to go.

What I love about photography is that it tells you many things that you never even see in your naked eyes. It's like microscopic lens showing most of the person's flaws. Minus photoshop.

The picture above shows a gloomy sky but with the sun hiding from the dark clouds, it's quite evident that you can see beauty behind it. The darkness versus the light, it's a great combination for a photograph.

By taking this picture, I didn't even know how amazing the rays were. I just glance at the sky and took my point and shoot canon camera and took the picture as quickly as I could. And guess what? When I downloaded it on my computer, I was in awe on how beautiful it look, without an effort on my part. Well, this is one thing I love about photography. So easy to spot on and easy to capture.

I took this one during Spring. Spring time as you notice is full of promises. So I didn't waste any time, I took my SLR and just took this picture. I love how the pink color mingles with blue sky. It's quite different if you look at it.

Did you notice something different in this picture? Well, I tell you something. The first two were taken with my point and shoot camera (7.0 megapixel) While the last one was with my Canon Rebel SLR. Did you see the difference? What about the color? It's sharpness. Have you notice? Well, if you're an expert in digital photography, then- you must have notice.

Your pictures are great. I do like the last one the best. The clarity and sha rpness are much better. It is amazing what you can do with a camera. Do you put your pictures on Flickr. You should, I would love to see more. Voted up and more! Have a beautiful day!

I love to take pictures and I was doing that yesterday trying to get a picture of the bluebird feeding his little ones but he wouldn't cooperate with me. The mosquitoes were eating me alive. So I just kept shooting pictures of him while doing that I'm wondering if I may have caught a UFO in one picture.

Your pictures are beautiful all of them. Vote up and more.

I have a little Canon point and shoot and am amazed at what it can do, but I do miss that clarity and richness from an SLR. I love all of your photos. You are right our eyes are drawn to the white spaces in the first one and our wonder of what's beyond, the rays coming through the second one are just magic and I can feel your excitement when you bought this up on the computer screen, but the third one is my favourite and its appeal for me is the duplication of the fluffy clumps of blossom with the fluffy clumps of cloud - pure magic!!! Great hub, my votes to you and sharing!!

      Welcome to hubpages Jojo29.

Gorgeous photos! You obviously know how to work with the light.

The contrasts are superb and the last photo is my favorite since I love colours. The pink, blue and white do the job, for sure! : )

I did not see the difference in the quality of the photos at first but when You mentioned it and I re-looked at them, I saw the crisper image of the third. The first two are a little more shady and/or grainy.

I still shoot in film so I actually don't know much about digital cameras. I love my almost ancient T2 Rebel lol.

      Cool hub. Cheers!
