Super Ribbed Crochet Coffee Cozy

This pattern will be for a super ribbed crochet coffee cozy. This is a very short pattern and can be worked up very quickly and in many different colors. Would make a perfect Christmas presents since it's so fast and uses so little yarn. This pattern is also a really good stash buster to use up your scrap yarns!

Supplies

This pattern you will need a small amount of acrylic yarn, scrap yarn would be great for this pattern.

Size H crochet hook

Darning needle for weaving in ends

Abbreviations

Ch- Chain

HDC- Half double crochet

BPHDC- Back post half double crochet

Slst- Slip stitch

To begin

Ch 37, join to the first ch stitch with a slst. Make sure you don't twist your chain at all and its nice and flat when you join it.

Row 1- Ch 1, HDC into each stitch around. Join to beginning ch with a slst.

Row 2- Ch 1, BPHDC into each stitch around. Join to beginning ch with a slst.

Row 3-8- Ch 1, BPHDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning ch with a slst.

Row 9- Ch 1, HDC in each stitch around. Join to beginning ch with slst.

Tie off.

This pattern can be made in all kinds of colors and perfect to give away to the whole family! You could also sew a button onto it on the opposite side of the seam so it shows the front. This can be a very cute effect especially if you have unique buttons.
