Make your own anything! with Flour and Salt dough

So my son is 4 and has been a dinosaur fan for about 2 1/2 years now. So one day I thought our craft could be something he would love. The dought is super easy to make and you can make anything out of it. Examples of what you can make: Ornaments for christmas use cookie cut out and make sure to put a hole in them before baking. Shape them into animals, hand and feet prints or shape into pumpkins and paint for halloween...let you mind create!

Small Batch
1 1/2 cups salt
1 1/2 cups water
4 cups flour

Large Batch
3 cups salt
3 cups water
8 cups flour

Mix together the salt and flour. Add the water a little bit at a time until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth. If the dough is too dry you can add small amounts of water at a time. Bake at 300 degress for 30 minutes or until hard.

Let cool and paint!
