Tie Dyed T Shirts

Making "Tie Dyed" Clothing is really fun for everyone! Start with a White t shirt, then go you your local store and pick up some assorted Kool Aid packages. Dissolve each package of Kool-Aid into one ounce of vinegar in a bowl or container. put on some rubber gloves use rubber bands to twist your shirts into unusual shapes then dip the shirts into the containers. after drying, set your colors by placing a pillowcase (that you don't mind getting tie dye on) and iron it with a medium hot iron. Wait at least 24 hours and then wash each t shirt separately. Walla! You can use any white clothing item, tank tops & tank dresses are popular. This is a fun activity to do with your children too!

Thanks for this terrific article. I have long wanted to know how to do tie dying. I had no idea it is so easy and can be done with cool aid. I like the low cost of your system as well.
