Bottle Caps Crafts--Making Art With Bottle Caps

Updated on October 7, 2014

Crafting with Bottle Caps

Bottle caps crafts range from simple bottle cap necklaces or magnets to this grand lady shown here with bottle cap arms and legs.

I like using metal bottle caps in my crafts, but I've included some links to crafts using plastic bottle caps too, which are safer for little fingers to work with.

Making art with bottle caps is versatile, fun, and inexpensive. All sorts of crafts can be made with bottle caps:

- bottle cap mosaics

- bottle cap magnets and thumbtacks

- bottle cap jewelry like necklaces, earrings, and bracelets

- bottle cap murals

- bottle cap picture frames

So, the next time you pop open a cold one, instead of tossing the bottle cap in the trash, rinse it off and toss it in an empty jar or other handy place so you'll have a few bottle caps on hand when the crafting mood strikes.

New Bottle Caps Vs. Rusty Bottle Caps

Use old rusty bottle caps

or new bottle caps for your crafts.

They both are beautiful!

New Bottle Caps - for the sissy crafter, not that there's anything wrong with that!

New bottle caps have their good points. You don't have to wash them grime and dirt off them. They are shiny and new. And you can get crafting right quick!
