Updated on February 24, 2015

Brother XL2600I Sew Advance Sew Affordable 25-Stitch Free-Arm Sewing Machine

The Brother XL2600I Sewing Machine rated as one of the best sewing machines for the novice and seasoned person who have sewn for years. This sewing machine is ready for all your basic sewing needs, from sewing hems, zippers and button holes to more creative embroidery craft projects. Easy to set up and use. Begin your craft project or fashionable homemade clothes as soon as you get it out of the box. Below is my review of what makes the Brother XL26001 Sewing Machine stand out. The special features and the unbelievably low cost in comparison to all the extras of what comes built in with this high quality sewing machine.

Why the Brother XL2600I Sewing Machine is the best choice

How to wind a bobbin on the Brother XL2600i sewing machine

Brother 5300 Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case - Perfect Match

Brother 5300 Sewing Machine case, White
Brother 5300 Sewing Machine case, White

No sewing machine is complete without the carrying case. This makes the machine easier to carry and keeps it clean from dust.

Automatic needle threader - No manual threading

This is a big plus for you because the machine automatically threads the needle. Rather than fight with the thread and be frustrated. Even with good eyes and good coordination, it does not always work. At the top of my list is the Brother Sewing machine automatic needle threader.

User friendly features - Not all sewing machines are user friendly

Easy automatic bobbin winding, then drop-in to load bobbin, thread cutter and simple one-step auto-size buttonholer. Remove the accessory compartment and you can easily sew sleeves, cuffs and other small or difficult objects that need a tight space to sew together.

Select the stitch size that is right for your fabric with the stitch selector. Be in control of the stitch length.

This sewing machine gives you easy control over your fabric, stitches and speed of making in creating your masterpiece.

There is no need to strain your eyes with the brightly lit light bulb to make your work easy.

Enjoy the easy and quick to change five accessory presser feet that snaps on for replacement.

Twenty-five multiply stitch function - Ideal for garments and crafts

Make incredible fashions for everyone in the family. Use any of the fancier stitches to embroider on your quilts, heirlooms, and crafts.

I can believe that. I heard the same about their electronics department. When I can I'll be making the switch to this machine. So glad you wrote on this machine.

Singer still exists but Brother has outdone them as far as quality goes.

favored, I was told by a guy that services sewing machines that they ones in the stores like Walmart are actually a lesser quality machine. The price is really good on this.

I just showed this to my husband. Didn't need much convincing since he's the one who has to thread it for me. Plus this price is less than Walmart. Yeah!

LindaSmith1 I would have to look to see if Singer and Brother are connected. But Singer still has sewing machines. I am sure that Brother did not replace them.

favored My old sewing machine had to be hand threaded because it no longer functions. The automatic threading is a good thing.

This must be one step above one that I have. Mine doesn't have the needle threader and the bobbin case isn't on the top either.

I remember the Brother when I was a teenage. I believe it replaced the Singer machines and was a quality machine.

You had me as soon as you said it treads itself. Have to get my husband to tread mine, can't see it. I also have a Brother sewing machine, but it's nothing like this. An upgrade would be nice.

I got a new electronic sewing machine for Christmas last year, and it is pretty easy to use. I like all the stitch options, without having to change cams.
