Crafting with Bandanas

Updated on October 7, 2014

Bandanas Make Beautiful Crafts

Crafting with bandanas is fun and inexpensive. Bandanas are patterned handkerchiefs that often have paisley designs making for a lovely square of fabric that's perfect for crafting.

Some of these crafts require simple sewing skills. Others require no sewing, so there's something here for everyone.

Great ideas and a great lens Peggy! I had a red bandana scarf that I got from my husbands Grandmother and I knew if must have been larger than 27 inches as I tied it around my waist and I know my waist was not 27 inches at the time, so it must have been bigger. I can see a lot of crafts I would love to do with these ideas!

Bandanas are nice for wrapping gifts, and can be used for other things then too. Never thought of wrapping a bottle before, but I love the look of that. :)

Love the bandana gift wrap idea! What a simple, colorful, and ecologically sound way to wrap a present! My mom wore classic, paisley bandanas, usually white on black or blue, all the time when I was a small child, and I'll never see one without thinking of her.
