Greg Coffelt Artist Sculptor

The word 'sculptor,' usually involves the arts of carving, sanding, chipping, or moulding with elements such as wood, stone, paper, or clay. Greg Coffelt's art is different in that he sculpts with steel in a larger than life-sized scale.

A stirred passion is the only way one can describe what one feels when they witness the expertise of a great artist. There are many excellent sculptors, but very few are masters in a league all their own.

Meet Robotica III, "Spanish Dancer." This work of art us more than 7 feet tall, and weighs more than 700 pounds. This is Greg Coffelt's "hand fabricated steel and car parts sculpture."

Greg Coffelt received fine art training, but is completely self taught in the art of steel sculpture. His designs are unique, and are truly one of a kind creations. His form of sculpture involves draft, design, engineering, fabrication, welding, and finish, all of which he does from scratch.

. . . "when I started I knew nothing about Art....I taught myself to weld...then taught myself to sculpt.....I hated my previous job so much that I gave 100% to it....10 years later here I am.....I am convinced people can do whatever they want if they are willing to put forth the effort."
