OttLite Craft Lamp

My Review Of An OttLite

One of the handiest lights I've recently invested in is a OttLite. It has an adjustable magnifier arm on it that is positively the best feature ever about it plus the lighting is white not yellow. If your like me with eye problems you might need some magnification to help you see better. I had a lazy eye as a kid and then later on diagnosed with young people's cataracts. Over time my eyes got worse and had a harder time reading little print as well trouble cross stitching which is my favorite craft. So decided I needed to invest in some type of a craft lamp with a magnifier on it. I researched several of them and even asked around what others thought was the best lamp to get. I found the OttLite came highly recommended and would be the best one for my eye needs.

As Time Has Gone By....

Now that I've used my lamp for awhile it makes for a perfect craft lamp for me. It's also a great lamp for just reading in general. Small words are hard to read so just adjust your magnifier arm in position and read to your hearts content. It is a floor lamp and has a goose neck that is adjustable to the height of where you are sitting at. The magnifier is also adjustable and perfect to help to reduce eye strain. That in itself has been the best highlight for me; the magnifier! The white light helps to see the clarity of colors of your project which is so amazing! It has truly been the best purchase I ever made for my crafting eye needs. I'd never want to be without one again. Now I can sit comfortable in my chair working on my cross stitch and see them be stitched to life.

Not only does this Ottlite have a magnifier on it but a clip as well for holding your craft pattern with. A nice feature for holding your pattern under the light for comfortable easy reading while you work on your project. Another nice feature is that the magnifier and the clip are adjustable; you can put them at your height.
