Have you stopped crocheting because your hands or wrists ache so badly? Well, I almost quit too. Luckily right about that time I discovered these Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hooks! I have very severe arthritis in both hands and at the time I discovered the Clover hooks, I was also suffering with Carpal Tunnel.

A good crocheting friend recommended them to me. I thought, "Why not!" I bought one of the hooks to try out. I quickly found that these crochet hooks allowed me to keep crocheting for longer periods of time and with less pain! There is something about the unique grip handle design that somehow makes the crocheting motion less work on your hands and wrists.

Well, I was "hooked!" I bought every single size of these hooks, one at a time, over a period of a few months as I needed different sizes. The hooks I bought (and still use) were the original acrylic handle Soft Touch.

Now, Clover has come out with these new Amour Crochet Hooks which have a grip surface on the whole handle! My gosh, it's even better! Although I will still use my original Soft Touch hooks, I've been buying these new Amour hooks to replace them. How cool is it that Amazon has this set of 10 sizes of the hooks for half retail price! I'm afraid I had to snag these too. I can always give away the extras!

There is no reason to give up a cherished hobby like crocheting when there is help available with these miraculous crochet hooks! Please give one a try before you stop crocheting! I can't recommend them highly enough.

Hey Threadies, Clover didn't forget us when they made the Soft Touch hooks! They are available in every size imaginable. The thread hooks feature an ergonomic handle similar to the Soft Touch yarn hooks. Seriously, I would not be able to do thread crochet anymore without using these.

Here I've shared the most commonly used sizes - 7, 8, and 10. Try one - I promise you will love it!

Clover Soft Touch Steel Crochet Hooks, No. 8/0.90mm
Clover Soft Touch Steel Crochet Hooks, No. 8/0.90mm

This size is used with size 10 or 20 crochet thread.

Here's a good review of the Amour Crochet Hooks! It will help you decide between regular Soft Touch and Amour.

Amen to that!

I have used Hamanaka hooks when I couldn't find my size in the Clover Soft Touch, and I do enjoy using them too! They have a very different type of ergo handle.

Hi, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have found help here to continue crocheting! Please take a moment and say hello here in my guestbook! Tell us about your experiences with difficulty crocheting with your hands, and how you have overcome it, if you have.

Happy crocheting!
