Alpine Type-S Speaker Review

If you are looking for new car speakers, your search is over. Get the Alpine Type-S speakers. They are amazing - I was blown away at the sound quality once I had them installed in my 2009 Scion xB2.

I will not use complicated car audio terminology in this hub, because I want it to be easy to read and understand.

First if all, if you love your music as much as I do, then you owe it to yourself to get new car speakers to get the most out of your music listening experience. Music is extremely important to me, and I wanted high-quality speakers in my car. After I got SIRIUS Satellite Radio, I wanted new speakers even more! My search led me to the Alpine SPS-600C set for the front half of my car (later, I will add the Alpine SPS-600 speakers for my back doors).

Where to Buy:

The only thing that stopped me from buying these speakers months ago was the price tag. Of course, during those months I didn’t look at eBay or Amazon.com, so I’m telling you this now: Buy your speakers online!!! The Alpine SPS-600C component set at Best Buy and Car Toys is about $130 – I got my Alpine SPS-600C component set on eBay (New), for less than $80! That saved me so much money, that I didn’t feel as bad for paying the price of installation at Car Toys.

Sound Quality:

Where do I start? These speakers are: Crisp, loud, clean, big, bright, deep, 3D, complex, thick, heavy, full, stimulating, inspirational, smile-evoking, head-banging, and mind-blowing… to name a few. I turned the volume on my Pioneer car stereo up to 50 with no distortion – only crisp, clear highs and lows. These speakers literally blew me away. When I replaced the factory-installed Pioneers, I was not expecting much of a difference, but after having them installed at Car Toys, I was proven wrong! I promise you will not be disappointed in your purchase of Alpine Type-S Speakers. In fact, in the near future, I will be buying the Alpine SPS-600 set the rear doors in my 2009 Scion xB2!

If you do not trust yourself installing the speakers in your car on your own, please take it to a professional. The last thing you want to do if ruin your speakers die to faulty installation or not get a good sound due to inexperience with car audio equipment.

If you have any questions or comments about the speakers or this hub, please feel free to leave a comment below. Thanks!
